Dr. Charles Sharp began practice in July 1993 in a larger group. He saw the attraction for doctor and patient of a smaller group setting. Thus, in October 1999, he convinced Dr. Tim Stone to join him in starting Sharp and Stone. Dr. Stone had been in practice in Tuscaloosa for four years prior to that. They were joined in March 2003 by Dr. Bob Goolsby who had previously practiced seven years at Princeton Hospital in BIrmingham.

All of our physicians are members of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and meet annually. They are interested in a broad spectrum of the specialty including pregnancy and laparoscopic procedures of all kinds.
